Kali M Brandt is a scientist with extensive experience in plant breeding and genetics, currently working at Inari since November 2022. Previous roles include Senior Scientist at GALY and Research and Teaching Postdoctoral Fellow at Clark University. Kali M Brandt has a strong background in non-transgenic CRISPR/Cas9 transformation techniques for wheat and has contributed to mitigating climate change impacts on wheat production through innovative breeding strategies during a postdoctoral tenure at Oregon State University. Earlier experience includes Research Associate at Arcadia Biosciences, focusing on TILLING in wheat for enhanced stress tolerance and improved nutritional content. Kali M Brandt holds a PhD in Wheat Breeding & Genetics from Oregon State University and a BS in Biology from the University of Washington.
