Thomas Smith has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Thomas started their career as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center in 1998. Thomas then worked as a Hospitalist at Watson Clinic from 1999 to 2001. In 2001, they became the Medical Director at 24 ON Physicians, where they served until 2012. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as the Vice President of Medical Affairs – Quality and Compliance at IN Compass Health. In 2011, they became the Chairman of the Department of Medicine at North Fulton Hospital. Since 2012, they have been serving as the Chief Medical Officer at In Compass Health, Inc.
Thomas Smith attended Emory University from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General. Thomas then pursued further education at Emory University School of Medicine from 1989 to 1995, earning a Medical Degree (MD) with a specialization in Medicine.
