David Brown has a diverse work experience starting from 2012. David worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Direct Brain Interface Lab at the University of Michigan, where they implemented classification and training of a checkerboard flash pattern and developed a custom module for cognitive assessment. In 2014, they joined Caltech as a PhD student and later worked as a Research Technician Assistant in both Viviana Gradinaru's and Richard Andersen's labs. In these roles, they focused on data analysis, computational pipeline development, 3D image processing, machine learning, and robotic arm control using Robot Operating System (ROS).
In 2015, David became a Software Engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they contributed to a project involving autonomous swarms of unmanned surface vehicles. David worked on planning distributed swarm behaviors and dealt with optimization problems and many-layered architectures. Concurrently, they co-founded Neurable, LLC, with a focus on developing and integrating Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology.
Prior to their roles in the scientific and technology fields, David worked at BIGGBY COFFEE as a Software Engineer Consultant, Lead Developer, IT Manager, and LAN/DB Administrator. These positions involved software development, consulting, and IT management responsibilities.
More recently, David co-founded ImYoo and currently serves as the CTO and Co-founder. The summary of their work experience showcases their expertise in various domains, including neuroscience, robotics, software engineering, and leadership roles.
