Melissa Polasek, PharmD has extensive experience in clinical development and pharmaceutical research. Melissa is currently working as the Senior Director of Clinical Development at Imugene Limited. Previously, they held similar positions at Kriya Therapeutics, Istari Oncology, and Metavant Sciences, where they were responsible for leading clinical development programs and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful trials. Melissa also has experience in strategic drug development and evidence-driven program design as a Scientific Advisor at IQVIA. Melissa began their career as a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they focused on translational research in cardiovascular disease. Melissa holds a PharmD from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy and gained initial experience as a Pharmacy Intern at Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center.

Melissa Polasek, PharmD has an extensive education history in various fields of study. Melissa obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from UNM Anderson School of Management. Melissa then pursued their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at The University of New Mexico. Furthermore, Melissa completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Research & Drug Development at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Additionally, Melissa Polasek is a certified Registered Pharmacist, having obtained this certification from the State of North Carolina in December 2015.
