Hans Tharp is an experienced engineering professional with over two decades of expertise in capital project management and liquid terminal projects. As the Chief Engineer at IMTT since November 1999, Hans oversees the entire capital projects process from inception to startup. Prior roles include Vice President of Engineering and Senior Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing a diverse range of terminal-related projects valued at over $200 million, as well as significant expansions and smaller initiatives. Project experience includes areas such as tanks, rail, truck, packaging, vapor control, automation, heating, and docks. Hans Tharp began their career as an engineer at Solar Turbines before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University.
