Ngoc Nguyen's work experience includes a role as a Business Analyst/ Technical Consultant at IMTF - Excellence in RegTech Solutions, where they implemented AML rule-based scenarios for a Swiss-based multi-national bank and developed key features for a digital Onboarding project. They also worked as a Consultant at Synpulse Management Consulting, contributing to a Wealth Management transformation project as a Business Analyst and later as a developer. Ngoc was also a Teaching Assistant at Singapore Management University and a System Analyst Intern (Operations Analytics) at PSA Corporation Limited.

Ngoc Nguyen completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems, with a second major in Analytics, from Singapore Management University from 2012 to 2016. Ngoc achieved Cum Laude honors during their time there. Prior to that, they attended Temasek Junior College from 2010 to 2012, where they completed their GCE 'A' level studies in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Ngoc Nguyen also pursued further certifications. In 2017, they obtained the WealthSuite Certification from Temenos. In 2019, they earned the Certified Business Professional SironAML certification from FICO.
