Robert Miller has extensive work experience in various roles within the finance industry. Robert is currently working as an Implementation Lead at IMTC since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at UBS for a significant portion of their career.
During their time at UBS, Robert held several project management roles. As a Project Manager in the Group Treasury team, they worked on projects related to financial and technological objectives. Robert led initiatives involving blockchain technology to facilitate transaction execution and operational processing. Later, as a Project Manager in Intraday Liquidity, they were responsible for creating the firm's intraday liquidity risk framework. Robert worked on improving liquidity usage across central bank accounts and main venues for cash clearing and settling.
Robert also served as a CLM Manager - US, where they gained expertise in regulatory change, specifically Dodd-Frank and Enhanced Prudential Standards. As a Manager of the regulatory change team, Robert implemented regulatory requirements into operational processes for intraday liquidity, cash and collateral monitoring, and cash flow forecasting. Robert played a key role in defining and documenting control frameworks to ensure adherence to internal policies for managing liquidity and funding in US entities.
Prior to this, Robert worked in Treasury Middle Office, OTC Utility Settlements Manager, and Operations - Derivatives Settlement Manager roles, showcasing their diverse experience in the finance industry.
Robert Miller attended Fairfield University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & History.
