Caidong Lai, CFA has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting from the most recent, Caidong worked as a Financial Engineer at IMTC since April 2023. Prior to that, from 2011, Caidong served as an Assistant to the Chairman at the Chinese Association for Science and Business.

From 2013 to 2023, Caidong was a Fixed Income Analyst and Quantitative Specialist at Smith Affiliated Capital. In this role, Caidong gained expertise in analyzing fixed income securities using quantitative methods.

Caidong also has past experience as a Business Analyst Intern at Nandasoft Technology Corp. in 2011. Before that, Caidong worked as a Financial Consultant at MLKJ-BEC, where the main responsibilities included working with different clients to clarify their business ideas, developing financial models, and writing business plans using tools like Microsoft Excel.

Additionally, Caidong has interned at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts in 2010 as a Revenue Analyst Intern, and at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in 2008 as a Personal Finance Department intern.

Lastly, Caidong gained early work experience as a Buyer Registration Office Intern at the 101st China Import and Export Fair in 2006.

Throughout these diverse roles, Caidong has developed a strong skill set in financial analysis, business planning, and quantitative analysis.

Caidong Lai, CFA received their education in a chronological order. In 2005, they completed their undergraduate studies at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, majoring in International Economics and Trade. From 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Finance at Clark University. Subsequently, in 2013, they attended New York University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Caidong Lai, CFA has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they received a certification in C++ Programming for Financial Engineering from QUANTNET INC. Furthermore, in 2015, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute. Finally, they have also been awarded a certificate in C++ Programming for Financial Engineering, with Distinction, from Baruch College.
