Simon Hodgson possesses extensive experience in motorsports, currently serving as Vice President of Competition and Managing Director of Racing Operations at IMSA since September 2014. Additionally, Simon holds the position of Vice President at the FIA GT Commission since December 2017. Previous roles include General Manager at Wayne Taylor Racing from January 2007 to 2014, Team Manager at Delphi / Super Aguri Fernandez Racing from December 2004 to October 2006, and various positions at Target Chip Ganassi Racing between March 1996 and December 2004. Early career highlights include roles as a Chassis Technician at G Force, Lotus Engineering, and MCLAREN CARS LIMITED, and a Race Team Mechanic at Team Lotus Formula 1 Team, as well as experience as a Tool Maker/Machinist at MM Microwave LTD.
