Jim Komar has had a successful career in finance, holding various roles in different companies. Jim began as a Staff Accountant at Meaden & Moore in 1989 before transitioning to Managing Director of Finance at The Bekins Company in 1993. At Bekins, they reduced accounts receivable and improved financial management. In 2005, they joined HomeDirect, Inc as the Managing Director of Finance, where they implemented new procedures, established banking facilities in Canada, and upgraded the accounting system. Jim then served as Chief Financial Officer at Sundberg America from 2012 to 2014. After that, they worked as a Consultant at Resources Global Professionals for a year before becoming Chief Financial Officer at pewag Inc in 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at IMS Companies, LLC since 2020.

Jim Komar has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. Jim also holds an MBA in Finance from DePaul Driehaus College of Business. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant, obtained through the AICPA.
