Derek Trimble has an extensive work experience in business development, sales, and marketing. From 1987 to 1995, they worked as the Vice President of International Sales at Software House. Derek then worked as the Vice President of Marketing and New Product Development at Johnson Controls from 1998 to 2005. In 2005, they became the President of OSI Security Solutions / Stanley Works. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at VUANCE INC. In 2010, they worked as a Business Development Consultant under their own company, Derek Trimble/DBA/Consultant. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as the North America Sales Manager at LYYN AB, where they established Reps, OEMs, and a Traffic Management partner. Derek also sold a new consumer electronics partner an iPad app for release in June 2013 in the sports and recreation market. Lastly, they worked as the Director of Business Development at IMRON Corporation from 2013 to present.

Derek Trimble has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geography/Geology from CSUF and a BA in Geography, Geology, and Business Administration from California State University, Fresno.
