Jeffrey Rouleau has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jeffrey began their career as a Co-op/Intern at Defence Research and Development Canada, where they worked from 2010 to 2011. After that, they joined the Cognitive Health and Recovery Research Laboratory at Dalhousie University as a Volunteer Software Developer, Software Developer, and eventually as the Lead Software Developer from 2012 to 2014. During their time at the laboratory, Jeffrey was responsible for developing automated tools, testing diagnostic software, and creating a secure web portal using technologies such as Java, Python, R, MySQL, PHP, and JavaScript.
Jeffrey then joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 as an IT Associate. In this role, they served as the Lead Frontend Developer for multiple internal products under the technology asset management umbrella. Jeffrey was responsible for developing the firm-wide technology role management system and the product landing page for associated products. Jeffrey also led a team in building a web application using Angular to facilitate test planning and execution through data aggregation and analysis with the use of third-party APIs. Jeffrey remained at Morgan Stanley until 2021.
Following their time at Morgan Stanley, Jeffrey joined billie app as a Senior Software Developer after the company was acquired. Jeffrey worked there from 2021 to 2022 before transitioning to Kraken Digital Asset Exchange as a Lead Frontend Developer. However, due to layoffs, their tenure at Kraken ended after four months in December 2022.
Jeffrey's most recent position is as the Lead Frontend Developer at Improving, a role they started in 2021 and continues in presently.
Jeffrey Rouleau obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with Honours from Dalhousie University, completing their education between the years 2007 and 2014.
