Michael Rizzo is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development across various healthcare and financial organizations. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Imprivata since January 2018, Michael oversees the Mobility and R&D programs, focusing on identity and access management solutions. Previously, Michael held the role of Director of Engineering at Imprivata, where responsibilities included managing core infrastructure for OneSign Confirm ID products. Michael's experience also includes serving as Director of Software Engineering at naviHealth and Clinical Applications Manager/Software Architect at Boston Children's Hospital, where oversight was provided for multiple development teams and service-based integrations. With a strong academic background that includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Bentley University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Mathematics from Stonehill College, Michael has a solid foundation in both technical and analytical skills.
