Lauren Girard currently serves as the Associate Director for Visitor Experience at Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute since August 2024 and as the Director of Strategic Operations at National Aquarium since July 2023. Previously, Lauren held positions such as Account Director at Impossible Bureau from March 2022 to May 2023, Director of Visitor Experience at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures from January 2018 to March 2022, and Director of Visitor Services at The Broad from March 2015 to January 2018. Additional experience includes the role of Guest Relations Manager at George C. Page Museum/Natural History Museum of LA County from October 2012 to March 2015, and various positions at Banana Republic including Customer Experience Manager and General Manager from November 2003 to October 2012. Lauren earned a Bachelor's Degree in Global Studies with a focus on European Socioeconomics and Politics from UC Santa Barbara between 2003 and 2005.
