Debbie Valentine has a range of work experience in digital product management and website management. Debbie is currently the Head of Digital Experience and Insight at Imperial War Museums, where they lead a team focused on improving user experience and leveraging insight to enhance digital products. Prior to this, they worked as a Digital Product Manager at Breast Cancer Now, where they managed fundraising and research products and collaborated with internal stakeholders and external developers to improve user journeys. Additionally, they were a Website Manager at Breast Cancer Now, responsible for content production and management using Drupal 7 and Craft CMS. Debbie also has experience as a Digital Support Officer at the British Red Cross, managing website development and using Sitecore CMS. Debbie started their career as a Web Assistant and Digital and Communications Assistant at NCVO, where they worked on content editing, migration, and website redesign, as well as handling enquiries and managing publishing projects. Before moving into the digital field, Debbie worked as a Guest Services Assistant at the Coca-Cola London Eye and as a Historic Properties Steward at English Heritage.
Debbie Valentine completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Queen Mary University of London from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they pursued their postgraduate studies at Birkbeck, University of London, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Victorian Studies from 2009 to 2010.
