Caro Howell, MBE, currently serves as the Director General of Imperial War Museums since May 2023. Prior to this role, Caro Howell directed the Foundling Museum from March 2011 to April 2023. Additionally, Caro Howell held the position of Head of Education & Public Events at Whitechapel Gallery between October 2005 and February 2011, and worked as a Curator for Youth & Special Projects at Tate Modern from 1997 to 2003.
