James Burke is an experienced professional in government relations and military operations, currently serving at Impact Science Ventures since May 2023. Burke has held various roles including Admissions Liaison Officer at the United States Air Force Academy since March 2010 and Squadron Commander at the 349th Operations Support Squadron until August 2024. Additional leadership experience includes Director of Strategic Alliances at Gridware and Joint Mobility Officer for INDOPACOM at US Transportation Command. With a background in the US Air Force Reserve as a KC-10 Instructor Pilot and various leadership positions in the United States Air Force, Burke brings extensive expertise in aviation and operations. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley, an MBA from the Haas School of Business, and a Master of Science in Global Leadership from Duquesne University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the United States Air Force Academy.
