Bess Cohen is currently a Program Associate at Impact Justice, having joined in January 2024. Previously, Bess worked at the Urban Institute from November 2021 to January 2024, serving as a Special Assistant and Project Administrator, and as a Special Assistant and Project Coordinator within the Justice Policy Center. Bess also contributed as a Volunteer at NAMI Philadelphia from November 2020 to January 2023, facilitating support groups focused on mental health for women. Earlier roles include serving as a Computer Operator for the Delaware County Bureau of Elections, an Executive Assistant at Achievement Network, and gaining experience in crisis management as a Student Volunteer at Haverford College Women's Center. Bess completed a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Haverford College in 2019.
