David Bicknell is an experienced finance leader currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Immutable since August 2022, and is a member of the Investment Committee for the Inevitable Games Fund. Previously, Bicknell held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance at Airwallex from August 2021 to August 2022, and prior to that, served as Senior Director of Finance for the Facebook App and Finance Director for Infrastructure at Facebook from April 2017 to March 2021. Bicknell's earlier roles include Finance Director for Engineering & Product at Twitter from May 2015 to April 2017, Senior Finance Leader for Product & Technology at Intuit from June 2014 to May 2015, and Vice President of Corporate Finance at Macquarie Group in both Canada and Australia for nearly a decade. Bicknell is also a former Board Member of the Industry Advisory Board at the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Business & Economics. Educational qualifications include a Master of Finance (Distinction) from INSEAD, a Chartered Accountant designation from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Finance and Accounting from the University of Melbourne.
