Derek Beck is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user interface and experience design. Since November 2018, Derek has served as a Staff UX Engineer at Immuta, contributing to innovative design solutions. As the Owner, Designer, Developer, and Consultant at BeckUI Design + Development since December 2006, Derek has honed skills in various aspects of design and development. Prior roles include UI Designer at CSRA Inc from March 2012 to November 2018, where Derek managed the entire design process from concept to final implementation using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and User Interface Developer/Designer at High Rock Studios. Earlier in the career, Derek held the position of Senior Graphic Designer at MDB, Inc. and Interactive Designer at Ryley Associates. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, earned between 1994 and 1998.
