Jacob Wesley

Vice President, Medical Sciences at Immusoft

Jacob Wesley has a diverse background in the medical and pharmaceutical field. Jacob is currently serving as the Vice President of Medical Sciences at Immusoft since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Director of Clinical Development at Immusoft from April 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining Immusoft, Wesley worked at REGENXBIO Inc. as the Director of Clinical Development Lead from October 2017 to March 2019. Jacob also gained valuable experience at MedImmune, where they served as an Associate Director of Sr. Clinical Scientist from July 2013 to October 2017. At MedImmune, they had various responsibilities, including assisting in the creation and maintenance of the Clinical Development Plan (CDP), establishing scientific methods for clinical protocols, and developing key documents for regulatory submissions. Wesley also had a brief role as a Post-Doc Fellow in Clinical Development at MedImmune, specializing in Oncology and Respiratory, Inflammation, and Autoimmune fields from July 2011 to July 2013.

Earlier in their career, Wesley had some rotational experience as a student at Procter & Gamble in July 2010, and as an intern at Pfizer in May 2008. Jacob began their career as a Laboratory Technician at Johns Hopkins University from July 2005 to March 2008. Wesley also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Pennsylvania State University from March 2002 to March 2005.

Jacob Wesley completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy, and a minor in Microbiology from Pennsylvania State University from the years 2000 to 2005. Jacob then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University from 2005 to 2007. Jacob's educational journey concluded with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore, which they earned between 2007 and 2011.
