Noelia always admired scientists and wanted to become one. This drove Noelia to study a BSc in Biochemistry at Oviedo University in Spain, her home country. Then, Noelia decided that she wanted to learn English with Geordie accent, so she moved to Newcastle to study an MSc in Biotechnology at Northumbria University; and after she wanted to speak Kiwi so Noelia moved to New Zealand to do an MSc in Biochemistry at the University of Otago. After her second masters Noelia found the opportunity to join the University of Hertfordshire as a Senior Technical Officer in Biochemistry at the same time she did her PhD in Pharmacology - her research was on lung inflammation and vascular reactivity.
