Abby Delawder has a diverse and extensive work experience. Abby is currently working as a Principal Scientist, CMC at Immunophotonics, Inc. since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis from August 2016 to June 2021. During their time there, they focused on stimuli-responsive, degradable, 4-D smart polymers and materials, as well as the development of self-assembled polymer-based nanoparticles for combination drug delivery. Abby gained proficiency in various instrumentation and methods such as NMR spectroscopy, LC/MS, HPLC, chromatography, and cell culture. Abby has published several papers and has co-invented patent applications. Abby also served as a laboratory safety officer, maintaining a safe research environment and developing new procedures for laboratory instruments. Abby also has experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Drury University and Scripps Research.
Abby Delawder attended Drury University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at Washington University in St. Louis from 2016 to 2021, specializing in Chemistry.
