Anne Bitner has a strong background in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, with a focus on oncology. Anne began their career as a Client Service Analyst at Symphony Health in 1998. Anne then joined Amgen in 2001, where they held various roles including Manager of Sales & Marketing Information Systems and Senior Manager of Sales Operations. In 2005, they moved to Novartis, where they served as an Associate Director and later as a Director in roles related to market intelligence, sales force effectiveness, and strategic insights & analytics. In 2015, they transitioned to Novartis Oncology, where they took on marketing and strategy roles focused on healthcare systems, precision medicine, and clinical education in hematology. After four years with Novartis Oncology, they joined GSK in 2019 as the Senior Director and Head of Strategic & Commercial Planning for US Oncology. In 2020, they moved to Bristol Myers Squibb as the Executive Director of CAR T Commercial Effectiveness for Worldwide Hematology. Most recently, in 2022, they joined ImmunoGen, Inc. as the Executive Director of Commercial Strategy & Operations.
Anne Bitner attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management. In addition to their degree, Anne also obtained several certifications including Palladium Innovation Impact in 2016, Accelerating Sales Force Performance from the Kellogg School of Management in 2013, and Palladium Kaplan-Norton Balanced Scorecard Certified in 2012.
