Liz Scanlon has worked for five different companies in the past five years. In 2020, they worked as an Associate Scientist and Research Associate at Immunitas Therapeutics. In 2019, they were an Associate Scientist, Technical Operations and an Associate Scientist, Biotherapeutics at KSQ Therapeutics, Inc. In 2018, they were a Co-op Scientist: Cell Binding and Signaling at Compass Therapeutics LLC. In 2017, they were an R&D Co-op: Assay Development at MicroMedicine Inc. Lastly, in 2016, they were an Undergraduate Co-op: QC Chemistry at Sanofi Genzyme via PRO Unlimited.

Liz Scanlon attended Northeastern University from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering with a concentration in Cell and Tissue Engineering.
