Elise Pepermans is a seasoned professional in immunopeptidomics and biochemistry with extensive experience in the life sciences sector. As the CEO and co-founder of ImmuneSpec since February 2023, Elise leads efforts in identifying MHC-associated peptides to enhance vaccine and immunotherapy development. Previously, Elise contributed as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp and VITO, focusing on the establishment of an immunopeptidomics platform. At Pfizer, Elise held leadership roles in the QC Bio-analytical Laboratory and Quality Assurance, while earlier research positions included post-doctoral work at VIB and Institut Pasteur, where Elise completed a PhD under Professor Christine Petit, concentrating on auditory proteins. Elise's academic qualifications include dual PhDs in Biochemistry and Physiology, alongside degrees in Applied Economics and Biomedical Sciences.
