Hongyu Tian

Principal Scientist at Immune-Onc Therapeutics

Hongyu Tian has a wealth of experience in the field of biotechnology. Hongyu began their career in 2010 as a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University, where they were awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship grant by the Susan G. Komen for the Cure to identify novel TGF-β regulators in the breast cancer microenvironment. In 2018, Hongyu Tian joined Immune-Onc Therapeutics as a Principal Scientist, and subsequently held the roles of Senior Scientist II and Senior Scientist I. Throughout their career, they have applied for grants from NIH, DoD, Susan G. Komen and Cure HHT foundations and was successfully funded by Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Hongyu Tian received a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Sichuan University in 2002, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Proteomics and Oncology from the Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009.
