Daniel Jackson is a Senior Project Officer at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, overseeing a team of 11 research assistants in providing critical information for refugee claimant adjudications since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Content Developer and A/Business Analyst at the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, where responsibilities encompassed content creation for small businesses and gathering requirements for ERP software solutions. Daniel also served as an Import Specialist and Regulatory Project Coordinator at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, managing regulatory processes and import compliance for various commodities. Earlier career roles were held at Public Works and Government Services Canada and the Department of Justice Canada, focusing on business integration and writing/editing for communication products. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from McGill University.
