Sid K. has a long and varied work experience in software development and entrepreneurship. Sid began their career in 1997 as a Consulting Software Engineer / Architect at ARI Simulation, where they designed and developed the firstIllusion simulation engine. Sid then assumed the role of Lead Software Engineer / Architect at ARI Simulation, where they designed and developed a full mission Shipping Simulator. In 2003, they moved to FirstRain Inc. as a Software Engineer. Sid then worked as a Lead / Senior Software Engineer at Electronic Arts from 2005 to 2009, before becoming a Senior Software Engineer II at Blizzard Entertainment in 2009. In 2015, they joined Amazon as a Software Development Manager, where they managed a distributed team of graphics software engineers. From 2014 to 2016, they were self-employed, experimenting with ideas in the web, graphics, simulation and photography domains, including a video game startup using Unreal Engine 4 and a SaaS product for the medical, dental and vision industry. In 2017, they founded an unannounced startup, and in 2018, they co-founded ImmersionOne.
Sid K. attended Princeton University in 2004, where they studied Computer Graphics.
