Mike Freeman began their work experience in 2010 as a Senior Front End Developer at Little Bridge World Ltd. Mike held this position until 2012. In 2012, they joined Immediate Media Co as an Ad Product Developer, and later became the Lead Developer for Ad Products in 2014. Most recently, Mike Freeman has been serving as the Head of Ad Product at Immediate Media Co since February 2022.

Mike Freeman has a Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth, which they obtained from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology (1st Class Honors) from the same university, from 1999 to 2002.
