Luke Thompson, P.G. is an accomplished mining professional with extensive experience in geology and mining engineering. Currently serving as Mine Manager at Imerys since September 2023, Luke previously held the position of Sr. Regional Geologist at Lhoist from July 2022 to September 2023. Luke's tenure at Imerys began in August 2016, where roles included Sr. Mining Engineer, Mine Engineer/Geologist, and Mine Quality Engineer. Earlier in the career, Luke worked as a Mine Geologist at Southern Ionics Minerals from January 2015 to August 2016 and as a Mining Technician at Southern Ionics Incorporated from April 2012 to December 2014. Luke holds a Master of Science in Geology obtained from Mississippi State University in 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Geology from the same institution in 2012.
