Carolina Sandoval has extensive experience in the field of user experience and research. Carolina has held various roles in different companies and educational institutions.

Most recently, they worked as the Head of User Experience and Research at Imed. Prior to that, they served as a UX Lead at everis Chile.

Carolina also has experience in academia, having worked as an Assistant Professor and a Guest Lecturer at Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción and Universidad de Chile, respectively.

Carolina has also contributed to research and development projects, serving as the Head of Research and the User-Centered Design Head at NicChile Research Labs and the Dirección de Infotecnologías - FCFM - Universidad de Chile, respectively.

Carolina Sandoval obtained their Licenciada degree in Ciencias de la Comunicacion from Universidad de Concepcion between 1995 and 2000. Carolina pursued their Master's degree in Comunicacion y Educacion at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona from 2003 to 2005. In 2010, they completed a course in Strategic Project Management at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Carolina also obtained a Diploma in Data Visualization from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in 2016. Additionally, Carolina completed a leadership course, "Liderazgo Inside Out - Universidad de Harvard," at Universidad Adolfo Ibanez in 2010. Carolina attended UX Lisbon in 2012 for Remote Research and Pervasive Information Architecture, as well as UXWeek San Francisco in 2011 for Content Strategy and Mobile Interaction Design.
