Rick Mortensen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various sectors, including mining services, e-commerce, and direct selling. Currently serving as Senior Counsel North America for Imdex Limited, Rick provides legal counsel to the company's North American operations. Previous roles include Founder and Principal Attorney at Mortensen GC, General Counsel at Renatus, LLC, and Corporate Counsel at Rio Tinto and Jamberry. Rick has a strong background in negotiating complex commercial contracts, compliance, and litigation, supported by a law degree from Drake University Law School and a degree in Music from the University of Utah. Additionally, Rick began a career in journalism as an Arts and Entertainment Staff Writer for the Los Angeles Newspaper Group.
