William Taylor has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. William has been working at IMC Companies since 2008, starting as a Manager In Training and progressing to roles such as Customer Service Representative, Corporate Security Manager, Memphis Terminal Manager, and IT Manager of Transportation and Logistics Systems. In their current role as the Director of Information Technology, they oversee the day-to-day system operations and data integrations of a custom Transportation Management System. Additionally, William served as a City Commissioner for the CITY OF PIPERTON from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Resident Assistant at Rhodes College and as a Sales/Cashier at Replays Gameware & Cds. Earlier in their career, they held a position as a Runner at Farris Mathews Branan Bobango and as a Foundry Worker and Sales Representative at Memphis Machine Works & Fndry.

From 2006 to 2008, William attended Rhodes College, where they pursued a degree in History with a focus on American History (United States).
In 2015, they briefly attended The University of Memphis, studying transportation, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution.
Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, William studied American/United States Studies/Civilization at The University of Alabama, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from this institution.
Before attending college, William completed their high school education at MUS from 2000 to 2004.
Additionally, William has obtained two certifications. In 2013, they earned a Master Fitter certification from Environmental Packaging Technologies Inc. (EPT). William also holds a Permaculture Design Certificate, although the details of when and where they obtained this certification are unknown.
