Falk Hegewald has extensive experience in the fields of new media, education, and communication design. Currently serving as Global Director of New Media and a member of the Extended Board at imc Learning since October 2012, Falk has also held the positions of Head of New Media and Project Manager. Previously, Falk was Head of Course in Game and Interaction Design at hKDM University of Arts and Applied Sciences Freiburg from October 2013 to March 2016, and served as Docent and Project Manager at the same institution from 2008 to 2012. In addition to educational roles, Falk contributed as an author for multiple publishers, including Springer Science+Business Media and dpunkt.verlag, and was the Executive Managing Director at HEGEWALD & TRITSCHLER GbR from May 2006 to September 2009. Falk's academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Game Studies from Universität für Weiterbildung Krems and a degree in Communication Design from Freie Hochschule für Grafik-Design und Bildende Kunst Freiburg.
