Jing Tie has a diverse work experience. They started their career at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories as a Summer Intern in 2010. They then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago from September 2009 to October 2012. In 2012, they joined HP Software as a Software Engineer and held this role until July 2015. Since July 2015, Jing Tie has been working at iManage as a Staff Software Engineer.

Jing Tie holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Network Computing from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Additionally, Jing has obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science with a focus on Distributed Systems from the University of Chicago.

In terms of certifications, Jing has completed the "Programming Foundations: Secure Coding" course offered by LinkedIn in January 2021. Furthermore, Jing obtained certifications in "Machine Learning" from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2018 and "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera Course Certificates in March 2013.
