Arno Janssen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Arno is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at iManage since January 2021. In this role, they contribute to the Risk & Compliance division, working on products that support and enhance the productivity of law firms worldwide. Arno has been involved in the ongoing cloud migration to Microsoft Azure, where they helped plan, architect, and implement functionality. Arno also set up CI/CD with Azure Pipelines to improve team workflows.

Prior to iManage, Arno worked at Travelzoo from December 2008 to July 2020. Arno started as a Senior Web Application Developer and eventually became a Technical Lead. As a Technical Lead, Arno served as the go-to point for all technical questions regarding architecture and implementation of Travelzoo's hotel booking engine and vacation packaging platforms. Arno actively collaborated with remote and local teams, using the Agile/Scrum methodology. Arno also interviewed and managed junior developers and contributed to the development of Travelzoo's sites, applications, and systems integrations with partners.

Before Travelzoo, Arno worked at Northsea Information Industry Corporation as a Software Engineer for their Japanese ERP software package called 'Grandit.' Their responsibilities involved coding, customization, testing, and maintaining this web-based ERP solution. Arno also worked on database programming, including stored procedures and performance tuning/optimization.

Arno's work experience also includes their time at Philips as a member of the content management team for the global consumer website of Philips Domestic Appliances & Personal Care. In this role, they were responsible for managing content on the websites for different countries and languages.

At the start of their career, Arno worked at Applidata as a Software Engineer. Arno was part of the development team responsible for a network infrastructure management application in C++ and MFC. Additionally, they maintained and enhanced various small-scale database-oriented (web) applications.

Overall, Arno Janssen has a strong background in software engineering, development, technical lead roles, and project management, with experience in various industries such as legal, travel, and technology.

Arno Janssen attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 2001, where they obtained a B.ICT degree in Information and Communication Technology.
