Jim Brown is an experienced photographer and educator, serving as the owner of Jim Brown Photography since September 1980. Additionally, Jim Brown has been an instructor at NOSSI College of Art since September 2015 and a contract photographer for USA TODAY Sports Images since October 2007. Previous roles include a retired teacher at Metro Nashville Public Schools from August 2000 to June 2015 and a contract photographer for US Presswire from October 2007 to November 2012. Jim Brown also held the position of TN Chapter President for the American Society of Media Photographers from 2000 to 2005 and served as a Major in Army Public Affairs from 1990 to 1992. Jim Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Art - Photography from East Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Education in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
