Dr. Amanda Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Dr. Amanda is currently a Co-Founder at Image Specialty Partners, a dental service organization that provides business and administrative support to specialty dental service providers. Their role involves supporting partner doctors in delivering exceptional care through innovation and technology.

Prior to this, Dr. Cheng served as the President of the Ambassador Program at embraceKulture, a non-profit organization focused on advocating for and including orphans with disabilities in East Africa. Dr. Amanda collaborated with local communities, government agencies, and other organizations to ensure equal opportunities and access to resources for these children.

Dr. Cheng also founded and served as the Chief Marketing Officer of www.daystosmile.com, where they provided cutting-edge treatments in orthodontics and orthognathic surgery. The company emphasized efficient systems based on AI and 3D printing, combined with clinical excellence from Harvard, to achieve optimal results for patients in the Bay Area.

In addition, Dr. Cheng has been involved in various other roles. Dr. Amanda served as the Co-Chair of the Harvard Asian American Alumni Alliance (H4A), where they supported scholarship and activities that advance knowledge and understanding of Asian American communities and experiences at Harvard. Dr. Amanda also promoted diversity, equity, inclusion, and racial justice within the university.

Dr. Cheng worked as the Chief Orthodontist and Clinical Director at The Dentist Group, providing quality care in a boutique clinical setting using cutting-edge technology for accelerated treatment in braces and Invisalign. Additionally, they managed the surgical treatment of adult patients with skeletal defects.

Dr. Amanda has also worked as a Lecturer at Peking University and as a Board Member of the San Francisco Dental Society. At Peking University, Dr. Cheng delivered lectures, while at the San Francisco Dental Society, they contributed to new dentist recruitment and membership, set guidelines, budgets, and policies, and organized networking events and lectures for different dental specialties.

Dr. Amanda Cheng received their Honors Bachelors of Science from the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in June 2008. Dr. Amanda then went on to earn their Doctor of Dental Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in June 2012. Dr. Cheng furthered their education by completing a Specialist program in Orthodontics/Orthognathic Surgery at the University of Minnesota from 2012 to 2014. During this time, they also obtained their Diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics certification from The American Board of Orthodontics in August 2014 and became an Orthodontics and Craniofacial Orthopaedics Specialist certified by the University of Minnesota in June 2014.
