Veerle Van Linden is a research engineer specializing in agri-energy at ILVO - Technology & Food Sciences Unit since January 2008, focusing on the sustainability assessment of agricultural production processes within the Agro-Engineering department and the ILVO Center of Expertise for Agriculture and Climate. Prior to this role, Veerle served as a praktijkassistent at KU Leuven from June 2000 to December 2007, where responsibilities included teaching engineering courses to bachelor's students in Bio-Engineering, and conducted PhD research on postharvest technologies, specifically analyzing factors leading to impact-bruising of tomatoes. Veerle completed education at KU Leuven from 1994 to 2006.
