Jonas Vandicke is an experienced professional in the field of agriculture and climate research. Currently serving as the Coordinator for the Centre of Expertise for Agriculture and Climate (ELK) at ILVO since March 2022, Jonas Vandicke leads multidisciplinary efforts to address climate-related challenges in agriculture, providing guidance to policy and private stakeholders on mitigation and adaptation strategies. Prior to this role, Jonas Vandicke was a Research Partner at Colruyt Group and a PhD Researcher at Ghent University, focusing on mycotoxin contamination in silage maize and engaging with local farmers. Early in their career, Jonas Vandicke worked as a Youth Mentor at Speelveugel, facilitating activities for children. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Ghent University and drama studies.
