Dr. ir. Said Benaissa currently serves as a researcher at the Instituut voor Landbouw-, Visserij- en Voedingsonderzoek since November 2023. Prior to this, Dr. Benaissa held a postdoctoral fellow position at Ghent University from November 2020 to October 2023 and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at ILVO from May 2019 to October 2020. Dr. Benaissa completed a PhD at Ghent University between November 2014 and May 2019, focusing on the Internet of Things for animals, particularly in monitoring behavior, interpretation, and communication. Earlier academic achievements include a degree in Telecommunications and Information Technology from the Institut National des Postes et Télécommunications (2011-2014) and a Baccalauréat in mathematical sciences from Lycée Moulay Rachid (2007-2009).
