John Schinella is a Process Engineer at Iluka Resources since December 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing the recovery and grade of Heavy Mineral Concentrate from the Wet Concentrator Plant and supervising the onsite metallurgical lab. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Process Engineer at South32, where John designed an impurity sampling survey and implemented a solids controller for improved operational efficiency. Additional experience encompasses an undergraduate role at AGL Energy focusing on performance enhancement in power generation, along with earlier positions in retail and volunteer work in sustainability initiatives. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering from the University of Adelaide, completed in 2019.
