Sadie Estrella is an experienced curriculum development and portfolio manager at Illustrative Mathematics, with a career spanning over 19 years in education and operational management. Since joining Illustrative Mathematics in September 2021, Sadie has held roles including curriculum development coordinator and previously worked as a project manager, contributing significantly to lesson design for grades 6-8. Sadie's background includes serving as a warehouse operations manager at Genesis Mexican and Latino Products, and front of house manager at Tight Tacos Maui. From 2004 to 2016, Sadie was a resource teacher at the Hawaii State Department of Education, providing professional development and coaching for K-12 educators while also teaching various high school mathematics courses. Sadie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Secondary Education from UC San Diego.
