Jennifer Overley is an experienced education professional with a focus on mathematics instruction and professional development. Currently serving as an Independent Consultant for Imagine Learning and as a K-8 Mathematics Certified Facilitator and Professional Learning Developer for Illustrative Mathematics, Jennifer has also been an Add+Vantage Math Champion Trainer for the US Math Recovery® Council since 2006, where the emphasis is on early numeracy development. In their previous role as Program Chair and Regional Representative for the Colorado Council of Teachers of Mathematics, Jennifer worked to support and connect math educators across the state. Jennifer's extensive background includes positions as a Math Coach, Interventionist, and Secondary Math Teacher at Cherry Creek School District, where there was a determined focus on enhancing instructional practices to meet diverse learning needs. Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Math and Science emphasis from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
