Daniel Freburg has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Committee Member for the Central Illinois ACLU Steering Committee. In 2015, they became a Committee Member for the Jail Review Committee in Mclean County, IL. In 2018, they worked as a Committee Member for the City of Bloomington, IL. From 2019 to present, they have held various roles at Illinois State University, including Director of IT Student Learning Center, IT Learning Center Coordinator, Graduate Advisor Council Member, and Java lab instructor. Daniel also served as a member of the ISU Solar Car Team, where they educated about renewable energies and showcased the solar car at sustainability events. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at the Information Technology Help Desk at Illinois State University, Mennonite College of Nursing. Additionally, they are currently a member of the Illinois State University CAST Advisory Council.
Daniel Freburg completed their education at Illinois State University from 2018 to 2020, earning a degree in Web Development. Prior to that, they attended Lincoln College from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a minor in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, Daniel has obtained various certifications, including an Executive Leadership Program from Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity and an Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant recognition from Illinois State University. Daniel also holds certifications in Executive Leadership and AWS Cloud Services from The National Society of Leadership and Success and Amazon Web Services (AWS), respectively.
