Rachel Newsome has extensive experience in communications and development, currently serving as the Communications Officer and Grant Writer at The Illinois Center for Autism since July 2019, after holding the title of Director of Communications/Development at the same organization since October 2007. Rachel's responsibilities encompass public relations, marketing, fundraising, internal and external communications, and grant writing. Prior experience includes a role as a Detention Analyst at MIQ Logistics from 2003 to 2008 and as a Communication Coordinator at Trans World Airlines from 1993 to 2001, where contributions were made to internal and external communications as well as the inflight magazine, The Ambassador. Rachel holds degrees from Millikin University and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
