Amy Meek serves as the Civil Rights Bureau Chief at the Illinois Attorney General's Office since January 2021. Prior experience includes Senior Counsel at the Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights with a focus on Education Equity and notable roles at the ACLU of Illinois as Senior Staff Attorney and Staff Attorney. Amy Meek held the position of Post-Graduate ChildLaw Policy and Legislation Teaching Fellow at Loyola University Chicago and was Reentry Coordinator for the City of New Haven, where collaboration with community partners supported formerly incarcerated residents' reintegration. Additional experience includes a Policy Fellowship at the National Women's Law Center, Development Researcher for The State PIRGs, and Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board. Amy Meek earned a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Economics from Swarthmore College.
