Ahmad Amin has a diverse work experience in various tech-related roles. Ahmad is currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at ILLA since June 2022. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2023, Ahmad worked as a Technical Consultant at XpertHub, where they were responsible for managing the development of the technical team, overseeing deliverables, and managing the back-end infrastructure on AWS.
In 2021, Ahmad held two positions. As a Product Manager at CitiesOS from May 2021 to July 2022, they conducted product progress to board members, initiated the technical roadmap, and managed the technical team. Ahmad also served as the Chief Product Officer at Nazzum from May 2021 to June 2022, where they built the product roadmap, initiated product OKRs, and migrated the business ERP to Odoo.
From 2018 to 2021, Ahmad served as the Co-Founder and CTO at Furnwish, where they developed and executed the technical strategy, created the infrastructure design, and defined the product roadmap. Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager at 412labs from May 2018 to October 2018, where they designed the training curriculum for the VR/AR diploma and managed the operations team.
Ahmad has also gained valuable experience in previous roles. As the Co-Founder and CTO of EpicVR from 2015 to 2018, they were responsible for VR development on Unity 3D, hiring and managing the technical team, and creating a proprietary room-scale tracking system. Ahmad also worked as a Co-Founder and Cross platform mobile developer at Edgeware from September 2014 to April 2015 and at BofffMe from July 2013 to August 2014. Additionally, they served as a Microsoft Student Partner at Microsoft from September 2012 to August 2013.
Ahmad Amin completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Helwan University Cairo in the period from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Al Farouk Islamic language School from 1996 to 2009, although specific degrees or fields of study were not mentioned. Additionally, Ahmad obtained certifications in Programming Foundations, including topics such as Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Design, and Refactoring Code from Lynda.com in July 2017.
