Seoyeon (Serena) Hyun has an extensive work experience in the field of clinical development. Seoyeon (Serena) currently holds the position of Head of Clinical Development at ILIAS Biologics Inc. since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Clinical Development at Contera Pharma from June 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining Contera Pharma, Seoyeon worked at MSD as a Clinical Research Manager from December 2014 to May 2020. Seoyeon (Serena) gained valuable experience in project management and leading clinical research teams during their tenure at Boehringer Ingelheim, where they served as a Project Manager and CRA team lead from February 2010 to December 2014.

Seoyeon began their career in 2004 at SK Chemicals, where they worked as a CRA and Project Manager until January 2010. With diverse experience at different companies, Seoyeon is well-versed in various aspects of clinical development and has a strong background in managing clinical trials and research projects.

Seoyeon (Serena) Hyun completed their Bachelor's degree in pharmacy at Ewha Womans University from 1998 to 2002. After that, they pursued their Master's degree in physical pharmacy at Seoul National University from 2002 to 2004.
